He was born as Tavis Williams, the son of an American soldier and a Vietnamese woman. Although, there is much more to their father Walter Williams than what is told. Walter Williams was actually an extraterrestrial that landed in Vietnam six hundred years ago. He had returned to the crash site under the guise of Walter Williams to reclaim his ship; this is where he had met and fell in love with a Vietnamese woman, who would later be Thunder and Lightning’s mother.

When they were young children, however, their father disappeared, leaving his identity unknown to the both of them and it still remains a mystery to the both of them. It was around this time that they began to manifest strange abilities. Thunder and Lightning had taught themselves how to control their new abilities, curious as to what they could accomplish with them. Thunder and Lightning were naturally playful and saw it as an opportunity to “have some fun”.

It was in “Forces of Nature” when the Titans first came across the two, wild brothers. They had dropped by in Jump City to have their fun, but it was Beast Boy’s words that convinced Thunder, who would later convince Lightning, that their actions were wrong. Seeing the trouble they have caused with Slade’s “guidance”, the two created rain to save the city from the fires they caused.

Now without his brother Thunder, who has disappeared, Lightning is out to search for him. Lightning's brother Thunder is back.

He is trying to see how far he can go with his limitless power, and have harmless fun while doing so. With this, however, he is starting to discover a bit of a problem with his limitless power: it's also hard to control and to find good use for it.

Also, in case anyone has any questions just in case Titans Go Comics or anything else comes up against my backstory for Lightning up here, keep in mind that I do not go along with the idea that Thunder and Lightning are literally the thunder and lightning during storms, that they are unfamiliar with Earthly ways, or that they live in the clouds. Lightning is a mixture of both cartoon and comic canon. So yes, he does live on Earth with his brother, he's recently found out what pizza was because he never ate it before, and they often go hopping from cloud to cloud to have their "fun." :P I started playing Lightning before I had a chance to read Teen Titans Go! #6, or anything else that hints at something different from their bakstory, so please keep that in mind! You can read up on them in the comics right here, in case anyone's interested. It's also a good site for more information about the Titans and their comic backstory.

Also, everything in this journal, aside from Out Of Character (OOC) notes are purely fictional. Do not take anything in this journal seriously. Any thoughts expressed by these characters aren't the thoughts of the person writing them. Due to Lightning's muse running away, this journal is abandoned, for now. Lack of interest from the JCN community and my lack of enthusiasm has something to do with it, as well. This journal will remain open.))
